The public bank presents an accompaniment pathway intended to connect young entrepreneurs with guidance, savings and suitable financial solutions.

An entrepreneurship commitment

On the 66th anniversary of the DRC’s independence, CADECO announced its participation in the Presidential “Debout Jeunes Congolais” programme.

The stated objective is to use the bank’s territorial reach, staff expertise and financial solutions to help young people structure or grow income-generating activities.

A six-stage pathway

The communication describes a journey from an initial idea to economic contribution: listening, orientation, project structuring, selection of suitable solutions, activity growth and value creation.

Accompaniment is expected to be delivered through local branches so that project holders can obtain guidance suited to their situation.

What this means for the network

The initiative positions branches as information and orientation points in addition to their traditional deposit and withdrawal functions.

Operational delivery will need clear eligibility criteria, available products, branch responsibilities and beneficiary-monitoring mechanisms.
